Kinsley Vs. The Story
Set in post-pandemic New York City, Kinsley Vs. is a dark comedy about a 30-something woman whose anxious thoughts transform into six distinct characters, all of whom threaten to derail her life ambitions.
Kinsley always dreamt of writing books – but when our series begins, we find her stuck in a mind-numbing job as a personal assistant to the 23-year-old daughter of a wealthy Brooklynite. As if that were not soul-crushing enough, Kinsley soon discovers that a cringey lifestyle influencer she follows online has somehow landed a book deal with a top New York publisher.
Both appalled and strangely inspired, Kinsley summons the Voices in her head to help her finally write her own masterpiece. Unfortunately, these six Voices have Kinsley questioning herself – and her dreams – at every turn.
